Dog Collar Safety
Atlas Cheesin’ at the Beach
Collar or no collar? That is the question. Well it’s a pretty easy one if you ask me. The answer is…. BOTH!
Okay hear me out. When your dog is at home, specifically unsupervised, the safer option is no collar. This is because it can get caught on things and risk choking your dog if nobody is around to help.
When out of the house, having a collar on is safest. Whether in an on leash or off leash scenario, you simply have more control over your dog with a collar on. You can gain control over them as needed if they slip off their leash, or are trying to get into something they aren’t supposed to.
For my dog, I have a GPS tracking collar, and it has saved me the couple time’s he’s slipped off on his own adventure. I was able to find him immediately through the Fi Collar App and save me a lot of stress!
I couldn’t recommend this collar enough! - https://amzn.to/4tWSs1P
