Traveling Tether
Did you know there are options to give your dog a sense of freedom to roam, while staying safe in unsecured areas?
Think the beach, campgrounds, unfenced portions of your yard, etc. You want to allow your dog to have that space to roam, but need to keep them from wandering too far, and don’t always want to have them attached to you.
A long tether is a great solution for both you and your dog! There’s two different styles that I love for different scenarios:
There’s the ground stake tether that literally screws into the ground, which is great for beaches, and yards! —> https://amzn.to/4wWHKdO
Then there’s the ones that rope around trees/sturdy poles if screwing something into the ground isn’t an option. It essentially creates a dog run that your dog get’s hooked up to and can run back and forth with ease! —> https://amzn.to/4x11xZH
These can be a great solution when you end up with a hole in your fence and need time to repair, don’t have a fence at all, want an adventure where your dog can let loose a little, your dog likes to jump fences, or any other reason you might want that sense of security.
I personally keep one in my car for outings, and one in my camping box!
